Rules for Participants of Pesantren Week
General provisions, prohibitions, and sanctions for all participants of the Indonesian Muslim University New Student Pesantren Week.
The following rules apply to all participants of the Indonesian Muslim University New Student Pesantren Week, stipulated by the Student Affairs and Alumni Administration Bureau.
A. General Provisions
- Every new student participant gathers in the Al-Jibra Auditorium Courtyard no later than 05.30 WITA .
- For male new students, it is mandatory to shave neatly, with a maximum hair length of 2 cm.
- All new students are required to stay at Darul Mukhlisin Padang Lampe Islamic Boarding School, occupying rooms according to the committee's arrangements.
- New students are required to follow all event agendas set by the committee. The activity center and material delivery took place at the Baiturrahman Mosque.
- New students are required to sign the attendance list prepared by the committee every event.
- During the fast boarding school, new students are not allowed to leave the Darul Mukhlisin Padang Lampe Islamic Boarding School.
- If forced to leave the cottage for very important reasons, the student concerned must obtain permission written by the committee.
- All new students are required to comply with the rules and other provisions applicable at Pondok Pesantren Darul Mukhlisin Padang Lampe.
B. Prohibition
- It is forbidden to bring and/or drink intoxicating liquor and food.
- Gambling or similar games are prohibited.
- It is forbidden to bring, trade and/or use illegal drugs such as drugs, methamphetamine, ecstasy and other addictive substances.
- It is forbidden to bring sharp weapons, firearms or other dangerous devices.
- It is forbidden to commit immoral acts, carrying images pornography or the like, and committing other immoral acts.
- It is forbidden to provoke and abuse that can cause uproar or division among fellow students, lecturers, employees, as well as the community around the boarding school.
- It is forbidden to take or damage property belonging to the boarding school.
- It is forbidden to carry out fundraising activities, both personally and institutionally, without the permission of the Head of the University.
- Fighting is prohibited, whether individual or group.
- It is forbidden to wear clothing that does not comply with Islamic campus dress standards.
- It is forbidden to wear torn pants, T-shirts, earrings, and long hair for men while attending a lightning boarding school even while being an UMI student.
- It is forbidden to wear trousers and tight clothing for women while attending a lightning boarding school even while being a uMI students.
C. Sanctions
Pesantren Week Participants who violate this order will be subject to sanctions in the form of:
- Temporary revocation of their status as UMI students (suspension).
- Permanent revocation of their status as UMI students (drop out) and then returned to their parents for further development.
